Access for External Collaborators
The YCRC can provide access to the clusters and Yale’s network for collaborators at other institutions through Yale’s “Sponsored NetID” service. To request access for a new collaborator or extend access for a departing student or post doc, have your business office fill out the Sponsored NetID Request Form and VPN Access Request Form. After receiving the sponsored NetID, you may submit the New HPC Account Request.
Overleaf Pro+ Accounts
The YCRC is offering Overleaf Pro+ accounts free of charge to all students, faculty, and staff who would like to use a collaborative, online LaTeX/Rich Text editor for their projects. Overleaf, the online collaborative scientific writing and publishing tool, is designed to make the process of writing, editing, and producing scientific papers much quicker for authors. Sign up for your free Overleaf Pro+ account at the Yale University portal.
Yale’s Overleaf subscription is transitioning to Single Sign-On (SSO) login on June 25th, 2026. (Access the announcement email.)
