Who We Are
Yale Center for Research Computing (YCRC) is a core facility that is jointly overseen by the Office of the Provost and Information Technology Services, established to address the advanced computing needs of the Yale research community. The YCRC comprises an integrated team of professionals working collaboratively to advance computational research across the university.
Our research scientists and application specialists provide domain-specific expertise in various aspects of computationally intensive research, while our systems administrators design and manage our advanced computing infrastructure. Complementing this technical foundation, our project and program management team coordinates YCRC’s capital projects, vendor relationships, procurement, and all operational aspects of the center, ensuring Yale researchers have access to cutting-edge computational resources backed by comprehensive support.
