The first annual New England Research Computing Day (NERC) will be hosted by the UMASS Medical School in Worcester Mass, on Wed October 7th 2015. Information Technology and Research Computing Professionals will meet to discuss an array of topics including
* Storage
* Cost Recovery
* Practices in managing (e.g. Infrastructure, Linux team)
* Lab support - Workflow and interfaces
* Clinical and informatics
* Cloud computing
* Backup and Archival
* Virtualization
* Software support (ex: HPC)
* Training
